Telstra corporate restructure - Amendments to record keeping rules and access determinations30 Nov 2022
On 30 November 2022, the ACCC released a public consultation paper on proposed amendments to the:
- Telstra Customer Access Network record keeping rule
- Division 12 record keeping rule
- Audit of Telecommunications Infrastructure record keeping rule
- Internet Activity record keeping rule.
The proposed amendments update the list of record-keepers in the 4 record keeping rules to reflect changes in Telstra-related reporting entities.
The public consultation paper also seeks views on amendments to the Final Access Determinations Nos. 1 to 7 of 2019 for Fixed Line Services and Interim Access Determination No. 1 of 2021 for the Superfast Broadband Access Service to reflect changes in Telstra’s corporate structure.
Submissions to the consultation paper were due on 14 December 2022.
On 21 December 2022, after considering the submission received, the ACCC effected the proposed changes to the record keeping rules and access determinations. The amended instruments are listed at the bottom of this page.
