Service quality and network performance record keeping rule for superfast broadband networks

On 22 October 2024 the ACCC amended the NBN service quality and network performance Record Keeping Rule (RKR) following consultation with NBN Co.

The amended RKR provides for:

• further disaggregation of data between major and minor rural area categories for those metrics requiring disaggregation by geographic area
• inclusion of an additional service class for accelerated connections
• additional headings for service transfers, and appointment keeping.

The amended RKR also corrects for a small number of typographical errors with the first report under the RKR still due on 30 November 2024.
