The ACCC is proposing to develop a new record keeping rule to collect service quality and network performance information from non-NBN superfast broadband network providers.

The new record keeping rule is intended to provide greater transparency to consumers, retail service providers and other stakeholders through future public reporting of this information.

The new record keeping rule will also complement the record keeping rule that the ACCC has made for NBN Co’s service quality and network performance and allow for future benchmarking across networks

We have concluded the first stage of public consultation on development of the new record keeping rule, receiving submissions to our consultation paper. We will release a draft RKR in 2025 for public consultation.
