Superfast broadband access service (SBAS) final access determination inquiry 2021

On 4 November 2021 the ACCC released a discussion paper to commence public consultation on the SBAS final access determination inquiry.

The discussion paper sought written submissions on matters including:

• the approach to access pricing for the SBAS
• potential reporting to access seekers on quality metrics
• possible competition-based exemptions from regulation
• the approach to regulating Telstra's Fibre Access Broadband (South Brisbane and Velocity) networks.
