On 13 December 2013, the ACCC published its decision to accept a special access undertaking (SAU) lodged by NBN Co on 19 November 2013.
The SAU specifies price and non-price terms and conditions relating to access to NBN Co's fibre, fixed wireless and satellite networks and other related services. The SAU forms a key part of the regulatory framework for access to the National Broadband Network.
NBN Co lodged the SAU in response to an ACCC notice issued to NBN Co in October 2013 that specified variations to an SAU lodged by NBN Co in December 2012.
The SAU commenced on 13 December 2013 and will expire in 2040.
