NBN Co SAU Replacement Module - Regulatory cycle commencing 2026

On 21 April 2026, the ACCC extended the timeframe for making its final replacement module determination for the regulatory cycle commencing on 1 July 2026. The ACCC extended the timeframe by 3 months and the new deadline for making its final determination is 2 September 2026.

The ACCC extended the timeframe under clause 5.8(e) of NBN Co's Special Access Undertaking, by giving written notice to NBN Co and publishing this notice on its website. The notice is available below and outlines the ACCC's reasons for the extension.

In making this extension, the ACCC also extended the deadline for submissions in response to the ACCC's draft replacement module determination. The deadline has been extended by 2 weeks, to 5:00pm (AEST) on Tuesday 12 May 2026.
