The ACCC is holding a public inquiry under Part 25 of the Telecommunications Act 1997 (Cth) about proposals to make final access determinations for 3 voice interconnection services:

  • The mobile terminating access service
  • The fixed terminating access service
  • The fixed originating access service

Final access determinations are written determinations that may set out the terms and conditions for accessing specific declared services.

This inquiry follows the ACCC’s recent decision to extend the declarations of these services until 30 June 2029 following a public inquiry. The ACCC also extended the declarations of 4 other services following the same public inquiry.

The ACCC is holding another public access determination inquiry for the Domestic transmission capacity service.

The ACCC also recently finalised the Resale fixed line services access determinations inquiry for the:

  • Wholesale line rental
  • Local carriage service
  • Wholesale ADSL
