Viterra wheat port exemption assessment

On 21 August 2025, the name of Viterra Operations Pty Ltd changed to Bunge Operations Pty Ltd. This followed the acquisition of Viterra Limited, including Viterra Operations Pty Ltd, by Bunge Global.

On 30 September 2025, the ACCC wrote to Bunge Operations confirming that Bunge Operations is an exempt service provider in relation to its port terminal facilities at Port Adelaide Inner Harbour and Port Adelaide Outer Harbor.

On 16 October 2025, Bunge Operations wrote to the ACCC confirming its view that it is a port terminal service provider for the purposes of the code.
