Our 19th weekly report provides the latest petrol and diesel price movements after the conflict in the Middle-East began in late February. It also shows petrol and diesel price movements to 15 July, 2 weeks after the partial restoration of fuel excise. Average retail petrol prices in capital cities and most regional locations were relatively stable over the last week, while diesel prices generally increased.
About the weekly update
We're giving weekly updates on fuel price monitoring during the current Middle Eastern conflict. This includes the latest movements in crude oil prices, international refined fuel benchmarks, and domestic wholesale and retail fuel prices in Australia’s capital cities and more than 190 regional locations.
