This is the 26th interim report of the ACCC’s inquiry into gas supply arrangements in Australia. The ACCC continues its focus on the operation of the east coast gas market.
This report provides:
- updated supply-demand outlooks for each quarter of 2026 with a particular focus on Q1
- an update on contracting activity in 2025 for supply years 2026 and 2027
- further observations and insights on the impacts of regulatory changes in 2022–23.
Appendices
Supplementary spreadsheets have been prepared with the report. The spreadsheets contain charts and data from the Gas inquiry's September and June 2025 interim reports. These are provided as appendices.
