The bad news is that complaints about debt collection show little sign of abating. This is not to say that all of these complaints are valid but it does indicate many consumers may be unsure of their rights, or what they can do when they come across debt collection behaviour that they are uncomfortable with. Redressing this is one of the principal aims of the consumer booklet that we are launching.
