The ACCC has decided to re-authorise Diamantina Power Station Pty Ltd to continue to engage in technical and operational arrangements related to the operation of the North West Power System (NWPS). In particular, the authorisation enables current and future participants of the NWPS to agree to rules related to the coordination of dispatch generators, and demand and load shedding of certain electricity consumers within the NWPS.
The ACCC has decided to grant authorisation with a condition until 20 March 2030, as sought.
