The ACCC proposes to grant authorisation to the Australian Dental Association Inc (ADA) and its members to continue to make and give effect to contracts, arrangements and understandings between 2 or more dental practitioners on the fees to be charged for dental services provided within a practice, where the parties operate in a ‘shared practice’ and at least one party is a member of ADA.
The ACCC proposes to grant authorisation for a period of 5 years.
The ACCC is now seeking submissions in response to the draft determination by 15 August 2024, before making its final decision.
Further details about the application and how to make a submission are available on the ACCC’s public register.
