On 18 December 2024, the ACCC granted interim authorisation to Queensland Rail Limited and Aurizon Network Pty Ltd to collaborate and share information only for the purposes of preparing a joint tender for rail profiling services.
Interim authorisation will enable the ACCC to continue its assessment of the substantive application for authorisation, including consideration of any issues raised by interested parties.
