The ACCC does not object to the collective bargaining notification CB10000489 lodged by Delivery Angel.

Delivery Angel lodged the notification to enable it to negotiate on behalf of its current and future members with potential providers of electricity, gas, insurance, waste removal and national food and beverage distribution services. Delivery Angel’s current members are mostly small privately owned hospitality and retail businesses that sell food and beverage items and accommodation services. Future members are expected to also be privately-owned, small to medium-sized businesses such as cafes, restaurants, bars, pubs, fast food outlets and accommodation providers.

The ACCC is satisfied that the notified collective negotiations are likely to result in public benefits in the form of reduced overall transaction costs for members and providers of the relevant services, increased input by members into contracts, and improvements in information for members which will result in more efficient outcomes. There is likely to be minimal, if any, public detriment.

The ACCC has decided to allow the notification to remain in force for a period of 10 years, as requested by Delivery Angel.
