A variety of experts, including economists and lawyers, known as non-governmental advisors or NGAs, also participated in the Workshop.
The 2020 ICN Merger Workshop was held at the Sofitel Melbourne in Melbourne, Victoria.
Workshop agenda
The Workshop included plenary and breakout sessions over two days. The sessions were intended to be directly relevant to Merger Working Group member authorities and attending delegates.
The Workshop focused on the foundation question 'How to achieve the right balance to merger review in a changing market environment?' through a range of topical plenary and small group sessions designed to cater to a broad range of interests among ICN members and NGAs.
