ACCC strategy
Our 2026-29 strategy gives us clear direction for the next 3 years and outlines how we will achieve our purpose: to promote competition and protect consumers across Australia.
This strategy positions us to respond to emerging challenges and keeps us true to our shared purpose.
We have used 3 simple lenses to guide our strategy:
- Sustain what we do well and ensure it remains strong.
- Grow where we need to mature and evolve.
- Reform where we need significant uplift to meet future demands.
Our priorities
We set out our priorities to achieve compliance with the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and other legislation we enforce.
Consumers expect the products they purchase to be safe. Each year, we identify product safety priorities to target the highest priority risks posed by unsafe consumer goods and to raise public awareness.
