Agency Plan
Under s.8(1) of the FOI Act, an agency must prepare a plan showing the following:
- what information the agency proposes to publish for the purposes of this Part
- how, and to whom, the agency proposes to publish information for the purposes of this Part
- how the agency otherwise proposes to comply with this Part.

Who we are
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) is an independent Commonwealth statutory authority. The ACCC was established in 1995 to administer the Trade Practices Act 1974 (renamed the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 on 1 January 2011) and other acts.

Our role is to:
- enforce the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and additional legislation
- promote competition and fair trading
- regulate national infrastructure.
