Summary
On 10 March 2023, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) granted an exemption under section 56GD of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) to Avenue Bank Limited (Avenue Bank) deferring its product reference data and consumer data sharing obligations until 31 July 2024. The exemption is effective from the date Avenue Bank is granted an unrestricted ADI licence. The ACCC granted the exemption in response to an application from Avenue Bank.
