AGL Wholesale Gas Limited has notified the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission of an access dispute with East Australian Pipeline Limited.
The dispute related to the terms and conditions on which EAPL will provide access to AGLWG at certain delivery points on the covered portions of the Moomba to Sydney gas pipeline.
The dispute has been notified under section 6.1 of the National Third Party Access Code for Natural Gas Pipeline Systems.
The ACCC has begun the preliminary stages of the arbitration process for this access dispute.
Given that the legislation contemplates that arbitrations be conducted in private, the ACCC will not be making any public comment at this stage.
