Consultation on ACCC explanatory material on Part XIC non-discrimination provisions
Draft explanatory material
On 13 December 2011, the ACCC released draft explanatory material (or guidelines) relating to the non-discrimination provisions of Part XIC. These draft guidelines are available below.
The ACCC sought submissions from stakeholders on the draft guidelines, including any views on the ACCC’s approach to applying the non-discrimination and related provisions, and any other issues identified in the draft explanatory material.
Submissions were due by 3 February 2012. Submissions received are available below.
On 11 July 2011, the ACCC released an issues paper and commenced a public consultation to seek the views of industry, and other stakeholders, in relation to the non-discrimination provisions and the preparation of the explanatory material. This issues paper is available below.
Submissions to the issues paper were due by Monday 8 August 2011.
