Finding and ordering publications
You can order ACCC publications online or by calling the ACCC Infocentre on 1300 302 502.
Most of our publications are available for free.
Those that require a payment have the cost shown on the web page.
The cost is also shown on the Confirmation order page.
Please note: If you only require one copy of a publication, downloading or reading on-line is the quickest option.
Printed publications cannot be delivered outside Australia. Overseas visitors please see: Downloading - free

Most of our publications are available as files located at the bottom of the web page, many topic pages on the ACCC web site also have links to key publications on the right hand side. See: Locating publications on this page for examples

Order limits
You can order up to 100 copies of each publication by using our online facility.
Should you require more than 100 copies contact the Publishing Unit on 02 6243 4915.
Delivery
You will generally receive your publication order within 10 working days. If we are out of stock your order will be delivered to you when stock becomes available. If we are unable to fill your order we will notify you of any changes.
How to order online
The ACCC website has a Publication shopping basket facility for ordering publications.
If a print version of a publication is available the publications description page will read:
A printed version of this publication is available at no cost
Add to Shopping basket
or
A printed version of this publication is available for $00

Locating publications
There are two ways to find the publication you need on the ACCC website.
Search:
Search the entire ACCC website by typing the name of the publication you wish to find in the Search box at the top right hand corner of the page.
Browse:
Browsing the site find the topic you’re interested in. Often there is a Key Publications link on the right hand side of the page.

Searching the publications section
The publications section can be accessed from the ACCC homepage lefthand menu or through this link to the publications section.
Search:
- Type the publication name or topic in the Search publications: box and choose Search. This will search just the publications area of the website.
Browse:
- Choose Latest publications. This will display the most recent publications the ACCC has produced.
- Choose A-Z of publications. This will display all ACCC publications. Use the A–Z letters at the top of the page to step through the alphabet more quickly.
- Choose from the topics listed on the Publications page.
Ordering publications
After locating the publication you can either go to the Publication shopping basket located on the right hand side of the page and
choose Order this publication for (free/$00)
or
use the Add to shopping basket link in the page.
This adds the publication to your order.
Note: this will add one copy of the publication to your order. You may change the quantity when you go to finalise your order.
From here you may order more (if you wish to select more publications) or complete your order.

In the Publication shopping basket choose order more. This will take you to the Publications home page.
alternatively you can continue browsing through the site adding items to your shopping basket until you have found all the items you are interested in.
When you have selected all the publications you require, you may complete your order.
Complete your order
In the Publication shopping basket, choose complete your order.
This will take you to your order.
Finalising your order
After choosing complete your order a Create New Publication order page will open and you will see the details of your order.
[remove]: You may delete a publication from your order by clicking on this.
Publication: name of the publication you have ordered.
Per item cost: if there is a cost for your item, this will be shown here.
Quantity: here you may change the number of copies you require.
Total: this is the Per item cost multiplied by the Quantity.
Grand total: the total cost of all publications in your order.
*Your name: enter your name or the name of the person the order is to be delivered to.
*Delivery address: complete all address details to ensure successful delivery.
*Phone number: please provide a contact number to speed up your order processing if we need to contact you.
*Email address: Ensure that you have entered your email address correctly as you will receive a confirmation email.
The * denotes a mandatory field. Please note that you will not be able to submit your order if you have not provided information in these fields.
If you think that the quantity of publications you have ordered may be too large for a post office box, please supply a physical address instead.
Once you have completed all fields, choose Save and close.
This will save your order and display the Confirmation page. From this page you may read the detail of your order and find your Publication order number. You may close or print the Confirmation page.
You will also receive a Publication order form submission (confirmation) email which is a plain text version of this confirmation screen.
Payment
If your order includes publications that attract a cost, you will be contacted by an ACCC Publishing Unit staff member to arrange the payment. The preferred method of payment is either Visa or MasterCard. An invoice may be issued upon request for orders of $50.00 or more.
A receipt will be sent either by email or post.
To cancel or amend your order
Should you wish to cancel or amend your order please email publishing.unit@accc.gov.au with the details. Please include your Publication order number.
