Summary
Central Queensland Local Government Association & Ors (the Applicants) have sought authorisation to collectively tender
for the provision of green waste mulching services in their respective council areas. Successful tenderers will be required to
enter into separate contracts with each council.
The Applicants sought a term of authorisation of up to five years. This term comprises a three year duration of the
initial contract with a potential extension of the contract for a period two years.
On 13 January 2011, the ACCC issued a final determination granting authorisation for a period of five years.
