Cheapest day of the week for petrol prices in the major cities

Because of the price cycle in some of the major Australian capital cities, there is often a regular pattern of the cheapest and most expensive day for petrol during the week. The table below shows the cheapest day in the five major cities last week.

Note: The cheapest day to buy petrol last week was not necessarily the same as the trough of the price cycle. Use the map below to see the days for the trough of the price cycle in the major cities.
