Contracts

A contract is an agreement enforceable by law. Before you enter a contract, make sure you understand what you are agreeing to.

Laws protecting you from unfair terms in consumer contracts came into effect on 1 July 2010. The laws offer you increased protection in circumstances where you have little or no opportunity to negotiate with the business.
