Innovative solutions to transport supply chain bottlenecks will invariably involve some coordination and cooperation from industry players and this is not in itself a problem if such negotiations are done with the Trade Practices Act in mind. Competition law, far from putting the brakes on solutions, can in fact help oil the wheels to get vital transport chains working well.
