Container stevedoring: monitoring report no. 11

Through a direction from the federal Treasurer, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, under Part VIIA of the Trade Practices Act 1974, monitors the prices, costs and profits of container terminal operator companies at the ports of Adelaide, Brisbane, Burnie, Fremantle, Melbourne and Sydney. This is the eleventh report prepared by the ACCC, and presents the ACCC’s monitoring results and observations about the role of competition in Australian container stevedoring.
