Bright Eyes Franchising Pty Ltd proposes to grant franchises to operate retail sunglasses businesses under the names Bright Eyes and Sunglass Worx throughout Australia ? on condition that franchisees obtain the following goods and services from approved third-party suppliers:
- business management systems, website, communication systems, gift card and loyalty programs, computerised point-of-sale equipment and information retrieval systems
- outlet fit outs
- sunglasses and accessories
- staff training
- marketing services and directory listings
On 21 July 2009 the ACCC stated that it was not taking further action in this matter at this stage.
