The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission today instituted proceedings against Cabcharge Australia Limited for breaches of the Trade Practices Act.
The ACCC notes the media release distributed late this afternoon by Cabcharge in which the company secretary asserts that contact was made by the Australian Securities Exchange at 2:10pm regarding the proceedings, before service of the documents on the company.
The ACCC can confirm that service was executed on the registered offices of Cabcharge at 12:18pm.
