Summary

The ACCC considers that the National Broadband Network (NBN) announcement provides an opportunity to develop an industry structure and regulatory framework for NBN that will deliver long term benefits to end users. Industry, the government and the competition regulator however will need to grapple with a number of new issues to guarantee the best possible outcome for business and consumers.
