Summary
The current National Broadband Network process promises a new wave of infrastructure investment, technological change and product innovation. And, as experienced internationally, it is raising a range of issues about industry structure, competition, regulation, investment, and most importantly, about consumers.
The ACCC has a role to play in advising the Expert Panel, and ultimately the Australian Government, in finding the right balance.
