Energy session: environmental issues in the regulation of energy

Renewable (green) energy will play a growing role in meeting Australia’s future energy needs. This session will focus on lessons from the international experience with renewable energy. What measures have been put in place to encourage renewable energy in OECD countries? Have they delivered the right outcome? What are the issues that renewable energy has created for network regulation?
