Quality of service monitoring discussion paper

In October 2007 the ACCC released the Airport quality of service monitoring discussion paper (available below). This paper covered issues related to the quality of service monitoring that applies to Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne (Tullamarine), Perth and Sydney (Kingsford Smith) airports. The discussion paper invited comments from stakeholders and seven submissions were received in response (available below). The submissions were taken into consideration when preparing the draft quality of service monitoring guideline.

Draft quality of service monitoring guidelines

In May 2008 the ACCC released the draft Guideline for quality of service monitoring at airports (available below). The draft guideline invited submissions from stakeholders. Submissions were due 23 June 2008. See the statement of reasons to the draft guideline document, which outlines issues identified by stakeholders and the ACCC's assessment of those issues (available below).

Airport quality of service monitoring guideline

The Airport quality of service monitoring guideline was issued in October 2008 (available below). The statement of reasons to the final guideline document provides explanation of the ACCC's decisions made in revising the final guideline. Issues raised in more recent submissions as well as the more significant issues that arose during the consultation process are highlighted (available below).

The ACCC quality of service monitoring guideline was issued in October 2008. The guideline sets out the ACCC's monitoring approach and quality of service information requirements applying to the 2008-09 reporting period.
