In October 2007 the ACCC released the Airport quality of service monitoring discussion paper (available below). This paper covered issues related to the quality of service monitoring that applies to Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne (Tullamarine), Perth and Sydney (Kingsford Smith) airports. The discussion paper invited comments from stakeholders and seven submissions were received in response (available below). The submissions were taken into consideration when preparing the draft 2008 quality of service monitoring guidelines. See the statement of reasons to the discussion paper document, which outlines issues identified by stakeholders in response to the discussion paper and the ACCC's assessment of those issues (available below).
