11^th July 2008	Closing date for submissions from interested parties.
11^th August 2008	ACCC requested further information from BG Group. ACCC timeline suspended.
19^th August 2008	Draft 87B undertaking proffered by BG. ACCC commenced market inquiries. Timeline recommenced.
19^th August 2008	Former proposed date for announcement of ACCC's findings, amended to allow for public consultation on draft 87B undertakings.
26^th August 2008	Closing date for submissions relating to draft 87B undertaking.
10^th September 2008	In light of BG's announcement of 9 September 2008, the ACCC does not expect to make a decision on the proposed acquisition. The ACCC will suspend the timeline pending the expiry of BG's offer period on 26 September 2008.
26^th September 2008	BG announced that its offer for Origin Energy has lapsed with conditions unfulfilled. ACCC review discontinued.
