The Local Government Association of Tasmania (LGAT) represents the 29 councils that make up local government in Tasmania.
LGAT works to protect the interests and rights of councils, to promote the efficient operation of local government and to foster strategic and beneficial relationships.
LGAT supports local councils so that they, in turn, are well placed to serve their communities.
