The Consumer protection Agency (CPA) provides services similar to that of the ACCC and the Australian State and Territory offices of fair trading by protect consumers in Egypt from unscrupulous business conduct. As a comparatively new agency, it is focused particularly on raising consumer awareness of their rights under the new Egyptian Consumer Protection Law.
