The Legal Practitioners' Disciplinary Tribunal is an independent body set up under the Legal Practitioners Act 1981 (SA) to conduct inquiries to determine whether legal practitioners have been guilty of unprofessional or unsatisfactory conduct. Charges can be laid by the Legal Practitioners Conduct Board, the Attorney General, the Law Society of SA or by any person (whether a client or otherwise) who is aggrieved by the conduct of a lawyer.
