Unconditioned Local Loop Service (ULLS) pricing principles and indicative prices 2008–2009
In November 2007, as part of the ACCC's strategic review of the regulation of fixed services, the ACCC issued an Unconditioned Local Loop Service (ULLS) pricing principles determination.
On 30 April 2008 the ACCC released an amended ULLS pricing principles determination for consultation. The Pricing Principles for the Unconditioned Local Loop Service Amendment Determination (2008) (No. 1) and an accompanying report are available below. The amended pricing pricing principles determination includes indicative prices for the ULLS to apply through to July 2009. Interested parties were invited to make submissions on the amended pricing principles and indicative prices by Wednesday 14 May 2008.
Submissions in response to the discussion paper were received from six interested parties. These views were taken into account in developing the final report released on 4 June 2008. The report is available below.
Any interested party who lodges a late submission is reminded that if submissions are not provided to the ACCC in a manner which allows for full and timely analysis by the ACCC, less weight may be given to that submission. It is therefore in the submitter’s interest that the submissions be lodged as soon as possible.
