Description

The Department's activities are arranged into divisions. These Divisions are supported by the Corporate Services Division and by the Office of the Secretary. The Department also provides support to the operations of Private Forests Tasmania, Racing Services Tasmania, Forest Practices Authority and Sullivans Cove Waterfront Authority. A senior Management Team, the Executive Group is made up of the Secretary and the Deputy Secretaries, and the General Manager Corporate Services. Each Division of DIER has core responsibilities that bring together infrastructure for social and economic development in Tasmania.
