The Australian Capital Territory Ombudsman assists the ACT community by resolving complaints and fostering good government administration. The Ombudsman provides free services, and considers and investigates complaints about ACT Government agencies and the AFP in its ACT Policing role. The ombudsman is independent and impartial, and works to improve public administration generally.
