The Workplace Ombudsman has been replaced by two websites;
The Fair Work Ombudsman - www.fairwork.gov.au - gives advice and helps people understand their workplace rights and responsibilities. If you have a question or problem relating to your workplace, this is the website for you. The role of the Fair Work Ombudsman is to work with employees, employers, contractors and the community to promote harmonious, productive and cooperative workplaces; and to investigate workplace complaints and enforce compliance with Australia's workplace laws.
Fair Work Online - www.fwo.gov.au. Here you'll find information and advice about Australia's new national workplace relations system. You'll also find links to Fair Work Australian - the national workplace relations tribunal.
