Product labelling

Food labels must accurately reflect product contents.

Unless covered by the Therapeutic Goods Act, all cosmetic and toiletry products must be labelled with a full list of their ingredients.

Clothing and textile products are required to be labelled with adequate and correct care instructions.

Retail packages of tobacco products must be labelled with specific health warnings and graphics and explanatory statements about the effects of tobacco smoking.
