Adjudication

In carrying out its adjudication functions, the ACCC assesses applications for authorisation and notification of certain anti-competitive arrangements. Where such arrangements are found to be of benefit to the public, protection from the competition provisions of the Trade Practices Act 1974 may be afforded.

The ACCC also assesses certification trademarks and certifies notifications of export agreements.
