Virgin Money Australia and Virgin Money Financial Services propose to require brokers and authorised representatives to maintain membership of the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia and the Association of Superannuation Funds Australia.
This notification was reviewed by the ACCC, commencing on 24.11.11.

On 11 May 2012 the ACCC issued a Statement of Reasons to take no further action in relation to notifications N92787, N93141-42 and N93329. On 7 May 2012, ING Bank withdrew notifiation N93186.
