Refusal to deal, small business fact sheet

Businesses of all sizes often complain to the ACCC that manufacturers, wholesalers or distributors have refused to supply them with goods and services, believing the Trade Practices Act gives them an absolute right to be supplied. No-one has an absolute right to be supplied. However there are a few circumstances when a refusal to deal is illegal under the Act.
