On 8 September 2006 the ACCC accepted an undertaking from A.B.C. Learning Centres Limited in connection with its proposed acquisition of Hutchison's Child Care Services Ltd.
A.B.C. Learning has undertaken to divest seven long-day childcare centres in five regional areas, mainly in Queensland. The undertaking aims to overcome the ACCC's concerns that the proposed acquisition is likely to substantially lessen competition in separate markets for the supply of long-day child care services in certain regional areas.

On 5 September 2006 the ACCC accepted an undertaking from Linde AG & Linde Gas Pty Limited.
Linde AG and Linde Gas Pty Ltd have provided a court enforceable undertaking to divest the business of Linde Gas in Australia in order to allay the ACCC's competition concerns about the impact of the international merger on Australian markets.
