ACCC issues final decision on Telstra's ULLS undertakings

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission today issued its final decision on Telstra's Unconditioned Local Loop Service monthly charges undertakings.

The final decision to reject the undertaking confirms the draft decision issued on 15 June 2006. Full details of the determination and reasons are available on the ACCC website.

The only decision available to the ACCC in relation to an access undertaking is to accept or reject. The ACCC is continuing to arbitrate prices for the ULLS in a number of access disputes currently before it as required by law.

Copies of the ACCC's final report and other documentation relevant to the access undertakings (including the undertakings, Telstra's submissions and other material) are available on the ACCC website.
