Model terms and conditionsUnder repealed section 152AQB of the Trade Practices Act 1974 known as the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 from 1 January 2011, the ACCC was required to publish, by written determination, non-binding model terms and conditions of access for each of the 'core' services, defined as:
The ACCC could take into account any model terms and conditions when arbitrating access disputes. In October 2003, following a public consultation process, the ACCC issued model price and non-price terms and conditions. These model non-price terms and conditions have now expired. In November 2008, the ACCC issued new model non-price terms and conditions. Section 152AQB was repealed by the Telecommunications Legislation Amendment (Competition and Consumer Safeguards) Act 2010. |
