The ACCC decided to not object to a price notification proposing increases to charges for terminal navigation (TN) and aviation rescue and fire-fighting (ARFF) services that was provided to the ACCC by Airservices Australia on 8 June 2012. The price increases apply from 1 July 2012. On 9 September 2011, Airservices Australia provided the ACCC with a formal price notification proposing increases to its charges for terminal navigation and aviation rescue and fire-fighting services from 1 October 2011. The ACCC released its decision to not object to this price notification on 22 September 2011. This follows the release of the ACCC's decision on 8 September 2011 objecting to a previous formal price notification submitted by Airservices on 22 August 2011. The ACCC decided to not object to a price notification from Airservices Australia which proposed to establish a price for terminal navigation services at Avalon airport. On 14 December 2005, Airservices Australia provided the ACCC with a price notification which proposed a new pricing structure for aviation rescue and fire fighting services. On 21 December 2005, the ACCC decided not to object to the prices. Airservices Australia submitted a draft price notification on 5 May 2005 proposing to increase prices for its aviation rescue and fire fighting services for the six month period to December 2005. Airservices Australia provided the ACCC with a price notification proposing that its 2003-04 prices for regulated services remain in place until 31 December 2004. This price notification relates to Airservices' proposal to set prices for a new aviation rescue and fire fighting (ARFF) service at Ayers Rock (Yulara) airport.
Airservices Australia 2004–05 price notification. On 1 April 2003, Airservices Australia provided the Commission with a draft notification proposing temporary increases to the prices of uncapped terminal navigation services as well as aviation rescue and firefighting services. On 24 July 2002 Airservices Australia gave notice to the ACCC of proposed increases in prices for declared services, including en route navigation and terminal navigation and aviation rescue and fire fighting at certain airports. The ACCC did not oppose the proposed prices. |
