Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries is seeking authorisation to enable it to engage in negotiations with area hire service providers in ports around Australia with respect to the terms and conditions for the supply of area hire services to FCAI members including the charge for the provision of such services to FCAI's members. It is proposed that FCAI's members be able to elect to adopt the terms and conditions of supply of area hire services negotiated by FCAI, if they choose to do so.
